Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning
Ensure that the filters in the base of the washing compartment are clean. These filters are largely self-cleaning but should be checked and cleaned occasionally to maintain optimal performance.
Water Softener Adjustment
Check that the water softener is correctly adjusted to prevent lime deposits on your dishes. Refer to the dishwasher's settings to adjust the water hardness range as needed.
Use Recommended Detergent
Use the amount of detergent, special salt, and rinse aid as recommended by the operating instructions and the respective product manufacturers to ensure effective cleaning and maintenance of the dishwasher.
Run Maintenance Wash
Every three months, run a 65°C wash program without any dishes using detergent. This helps keep the internal components clean and free from buildup.
Check Alarms and Indicators
Familiarize yourself with the dishwasher's fault codes and alarms. If a flashing fault code or an audible signal occurs, refer to the manual to address the issue promptly.
